Arabian - Classic
History:
Also called Purebred Arabian, it is an equine breed that originated in the Arabian Peninsula.
With a peculiar shape of the skull and tail, the Arabian horse is one of the most easily identifiable breeds of horse in the world.
The Arabian is also one of the oldest equine breeds, with archaeological evidence dating back to around 2500 B.C. Today, Arabian bloodlines are found in almost all modern riding horse breeds.
Arabian horses are particularly used in Olympic equestrian sports, in which they perform better than other breeds.
